Thule, a global solution leader, embraces Additive Manufacturing with FDM Nylon 12 Carbon Fiber prototypes created with Stratasys 3D printers.
The company known for its products, from car racks and carriers to luggage, bags, and kids’ accessories were first drawn to 3D printing for visual models to help them with concept validation.
But despite the conceptual benefits, these models lacked the functionality necessary for design verification, Thule made the decision to upgrade for a more excellent materials range and higher output, giving them the ability to print functional prototypes.
Find out in this video how Stratasys materials and technologies allow Thule to bring their ideas to fruition.
