Production Grade Thermoplastics

ABS Plus

ABSplus offers the widest range of colors available with FDM Technology (ivory, white, black, dark gray, red, blue, olive green, nectarine and fluorescent yellow), plus the option for custom colors.

Parts 3D printed in this material are mechanically strong and stable over time. Because ABSplus works with soluble support materials, support removal is hands-free, and complex shapes and deep cavities require no extra effort.

ABSplus works on all Idea Series 3D Printers and Design Series Performance 3D Printers

ABSi

3D print see-through parts when light transmission or flow monitoring are important. Create concept models and functional prototypes that mimic the final product, without outsourcing. ABSi lets designers and engineers expand use of their Stratasys 3D Production Systems beyond tough opaque parts. This material is especially useful in automotive, aerospace and medical-device manufacturing.

ABS-M30

ABS-M30 lets you produce parts in production-grade ABS, making it ideal for concept models and moderate-requirement parts including functional prototypes, jigs, fixtures, manufacturing tooling and end-use parts. It works with soluble support material for hands-free support removal to make your product-development process more efficient.Colors include natural, white, black, dark gray, red and blue.

ABS-M30i

ABS-M30i is a biocompatible 3D printing material that lets medical, pharmaceutical and food-packaging engineers and designers produce surgical planning models, tools and fixtures in-house, directly from CAD data.

ABS-M30i works with FDM Technology to build functional prototypes, tooling and end-use parts that can be gamma or EtO sterilized. This engineering thermoplastic has good mechanical strength and complies with ISO 10993 and USP Class VI.

FDM Technology offers a soluble support material for ABS-M30i, so support removal is efficient and hands-free. ABS-M30i works with Fortus 400mc, Fortus 380mc/450mc and Fortus 900mc 3D Production Systems.

ABS-ESD7

For applications where a static charge could damage components, impair performance, or cause an explosion, FDM Technology offers ABS-ESD7 static-dissipative thermoplastic. Engineers and designers can use FDM parts confidently to create jigs and fixtures for assembling electronic components. Functional prototypes for fuel storage and delivery products also benefit from static dissipation.

On the Fortus 400mc, Fortus 380mc/450mc and Fortus 900mc 3D Production Systems, ABS-ESD7 lets electronics manufacturers expand the use of 3D printing onto the assembly line. Static dissipation also makes the material ideal for applications in the presence of powders, dust and mist that might otherwise be attracted to a plastic part. ABS-ESD7 standard FDM thermoplastic works with soluble support technology, so support removal is hands-free and complex parts require no extra effort.

Nylon 12

Now you can create advanced prototypes and custom tooling for applications that demand high fatigue resistance, with clean, hassle-free FDM Technology thanks to FDM Nylon 12, the same tough nylon material popular in traditional manufacturing for its superb price-performance.

Nylon 12 parts built on a Fortus 3D Production System are the toughest in the industry, exhibiting 100-300 percent better elongation at break and superior fatigue resistance over any other additive manufacturing technology. Nylon offers the best Z-axis lamination and highest impact strength of any FDM thermoplastic, as well as excellent chemical resistance.Ideal for applications that demand high fatigue endurance, including repetitive snap fits and friction-fit inserts, FDM Nylon 12 works on Fortus 900mc, Fortus 400mc and Fortus 360mc 3D Production Systems.

PC

Building parts in polycarbonate (PC) FDM Technology lets engineers and designers marry the speed and agility of 3D printing with the reliability of the most widely used industrial thermoplastic.

PC and FDM Technology produce functional prototypes, tooling and end-use parts in a familiar, durable engineering material. PC’s high tensile and flexural strength make it ideal for demanding prototyping needs, tooling and fixtures, and patterns for metal bending and composite work. Low-volume manufacturing and customization become feasible, and testing provides more confidence.

This material works with Fortus 360mc/400mc, Fortus 380mc/450mc and Fortus 900mc 3D Production Systems.

PC-ABS

PC-ABS offers the best features of two great FDM thermoplastics: the strength and heat resistance of PC and the flexibility of ABS. PC-ABS also exhibits excellent feature definition and surface finish. PC-ABS works with soluble support material, meaning support removal is hands-free and complex parts with deep internal cavities take no extra effort. This material works with Fortus 360mc, 400mc and 900mc 3D Production Systems.

PC-ISO

PC-ISO is a biocompatible thermoplastic that lets medical, pharmaceutical and food-packaging engineers and designers 3D print strong, heat-resistant surgical planning models, tools and fixtures straight from CAD data.

PC-ISO is the strongest, most heat-resistant biocompatible material available with FDM Technology. It is gamma and EtO sterilizable and complies with ISO 10993 and USP Class VI.

This engineering thermoplastic works with breakaway support material. Fortus 400mc, Fortus 380mc/450mc and Fortus 900mc 3D Production Systems can build parts in PC-ISO.

PPSF/PPSU

PPSF/PPSU offers the highest heat resistance of any FDM thermoplastic, good mechanical strength and resistance to petroleum and solvents. It is gamma, EtO and autoclave sterilizable. Performance, tested under fire. For 3D printed parts that can withstand punishing heat and exposure to chemicals, FDM Technology works with PPSF/PPSU high-performance thermoplastic.

ULTEM 9085

With a reputation for reliability, ULTEM 9085 is a famously overachieving thermoplastic with well-rounded thermal, mechanical and chemical properties to make it superior in most categories. Ideal for aerospace, automotive and military applications because of its FST rating, high strength-to-weight ratio and existing certifications, LTEM 9085 empowers design and manufacturing engineers to 3D print advanced functional prototypes and end-use parts.

On the Fortus 400mc, Fortus 450mc and Fortus 900mc 3D Production Systems, ULTEM 9085 offers a well-vetted high-performance thermoplastic. Advanced applications include functional testing, manufacturing tooling and direct digital manufacturing of end-use parts — including aircraft interior components and ductwork. ULTEM 9085 works with breakaway support material and is available in tan and black.

ULTEM 1010

ULTEM 1010’s outstanding strength and thermal stability make it ideal for advanced tooling and prototyping applications in the automotive, aerospace, medical and food-production industries. Its food-contact and biocompatibility certifications expand the use of additive manufacturing into applications like custom food-production tools and autoclave-sterilizable medical devices.

Available on the Fortus 900mc 3D Production System, ULTEM 1010 resin offers the highest heat resistance, chemical resistance and tensile strength of any FDM thermoplastic. It is the only FDM material with an NSF 51 food-contact certification, and it’s biocompatible with an ISO 10993/USP Class VI certification.

ULTEM 1010 is available in natural and works with improved, easy-use breakaway support material.
