Owing to its exceptional corrosion resistance and biocompatibility, CoCr28Mo6 is used for production of demanding parts in aerospace as well as medical industry. The material is used to produce components for application in high temperature environments such as jet-engines, owing to its resistance to high thermal fatigue.
