He leverages on his decade-long experience as an integral player in managing business processes in the global technology, manufacturing, construction, oil & gas sectors, to share insights with customers on the outcomes that the digital renaissance enables to deliver and drive sustainable innovation.

Alex is currently Solution Consultant at Dassault Systemes SOLIDWORKS and responsible for end-user technical engagement initiatives designed to optimise their investment in SOLIDWORKS solutions.

Prior to his current role, Alex oversaw channel technical development as territory technical manager at Dassault Systemes SOLIDWORKS for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), one of the continually-highest growth territories in the Asia-Pacific region.

Throughout his more than 15 years experience in the engineering solutions industry Alex has held various technical management and consulting roles at SOLIDWORKS, PTC and Siemens channel partners across ASEAN and ANZ territories.

Kapil GAITONDE has more than 17 years of experiences in advising and mentoring companies and engineers in implementing 3D simulation software solutions to optimize their design cycles and create innovative products.

Kapil expertise is in the field of Design Analysis using FEA, CFD, Plastic Injection and Kinematic analysis technologies and tools such as ANSYS, SOLIDWORKS Simulation, Flow, Motion and Plastics Injection molding.

Over the length of his career, Kapil has held many diverse positions in the CAD software industry, ranging from channel management, pre-sales, post-sales management, product design, product management, research and development, team management roles, which gives him the experience and ability to advise clients in solutions implementation from a holistic, end-to-end perspective.

He comes from a mechanical design and engineering background with 25 years’ experience in multiple high-end 3D CAD applications across a range of industries including aerospace and automotive. He has been heavily involved in the 3D Printing evolution – from initial early prototyping to today’s advanced 3D printing technologies producing production parts straight of the printer. As Managing Director of Objective3D, he provides Stratasys, Desktop Metal and Concept Laser 3D printing solutions to a host of industries across Australia and New Zealand.
